Dave Crawford
Dave Crawford Currently runs and organises the Indian Summer Festival in the UK.
Bringing together quite a few years of experiences to create an environment that captures the imagination and provides a playground for people to enjoy each others company. He has been involved with Indian Summer for the past 2 years, developing the Festival and delivering events.
He Has been playing in and around Manchester since 1989. He mostly played underground bars & clubs. He got involved with more underground scenes after running a few nights across manchester under the heading '4playLive', 'Break Glass' and 'Breaking Point' at various venues.
His main home was at the MusicBox on Oxford Road and our warehouse projects were run under a collective know as 'Missing in Manchester'. These events we all located in one venue ans spread across seven areas of the club hosting around 60 DJ's.
He took a break from the scene in 2008 and returned in 2012 playing a few small venues as part of House Music Live and then went to play in Ibiza for a time supporting the development of No Name Ibiza which was a really good experience playing alongside some great DJ's.
He set up a venue in Manchester in 2015 called RBase and established links with events across a wide genre base bringing underground promoters together to build nights in the city. This led to quite a few diverse types of opportunities from dub to jungle, house, techno, DnB, playing and delivering sound systems to events.
He started playing in Andalusia in 2015 after a trip out to support a Club called 'PASATE' in Rute,
Now he plays a couple of times a year with 'Deep Senses' out in Spain at La Tequeria developing the brand, with a new music festival due to begin out there in the near future.
He also plays with an radio station called 'Underground Kollektiv' and my current Radio show is called 'Andalusian Groove' where he tries to capture a little bit of the sounds he likes to play and hear when he is out in Spain.
